When Daniel and Pippa Jacobs decided to move to France, they wanted to keep a foothold back in England. Their solution was to buy a luxury three-bedroom Norwegian Log holiday cabin in Cambridgeshire.

“We wanted to be close to family and friends when we came home. We have an interest in a family business in Hitchin, and being so close to the A1 and to both Luton and Stansted airports makes Abbotsley the perfect location for us,” says Pippa.

As boating enthusiasts, the Jacobs are also delighted to be close to three marinas in and around St Neots, offering ample moorings and easy access to the River Great Ouse.

“Abbotsley ticks all the boxes for us,” concludes Daniel, “We don’t have to worry about maintaining our lovely gardens because everything’s done for you, giving us even more time to spend on the boat. And we can boost our income by letting the property while we’re away.”
