Enhancing Viaduct Fishery: Norwegian Log Cabins Expand the Lakeside Experience

At Norwegian Log, we're proud to see our cabins playing a central role in the ongoing enhancement of Viaduct Fishery. Nestled in the tranquil Cary Valley, these luxurious log cabins have become a beloved retreat for anglers and holidaymakers alike.

Those who have experienced the charm of our lakeside and hillside cabins at Viaduct Fishery will understand their appeal. The peaceful surroundings, combined with the natural warmth and quality of our Norwegian log designs, create a truly unique getaway. As demand grows, we’re delighted to be part of providing more of these exceptional spaces.

Currently, three of our cabins are positioned gracefully along Middle Lake, offering direct access to fishing and stunning views. Viaduct Fishery is now adding another three cabins in the same prime location. Further plans include two more lakeside cabins, as well as three additional cabins higher up on the hill, offering elevated views of the beautiful fishery.

This project is being carefully managed by our dedicated team: Liam, Sean, Charlie and Kieran, under the steady leadership of Paul. They are working diligently to ensure each new lodge complements the existing cabins, maintaining the high standards of quality and reliability that Norwegian Log is known for.

Matt, Tom (pictured, son), and Steve (pictured, Dad) are deeply involved, ensuring that every detail aligns with their commitment to providing a top-tier experience for their guests. For those new to Viaduct Fishery, let us share a little about their story. Since 1999, they’ve been proud custodians of this beautiful location, originally established in the early eighties. Situated in Somerton, Somerset, they offer six well-stocked lakes for dawn-to-dusk fishing, catering to anglers of all skill levels. Their existing seven luxury lodges, including those with private fishing pegs and hot tubs, provide the perfect blend of relaxation and recreation.

Our Norwegian log cabins, overlooking Middle Lake and the stunning Cary Valley, offer a true escape. With options ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms, they cater to couples, families, and groups alike. And while fishing is a major draw, the surrounding area offers plenty to explore. The historic town of Somerton, with its shops, pubs, and restaurants, is just a stone's throw away, and the wider Somerset region is rich in history and natural beauty.
